Waco High Lady Lions Make Playoffs for Second Year!

Waco High Soccer Lady Lions (10-2) have made the playoffs for the second time in team history finishing 2nd in the 4A Region 2 Division 10 regular season. This is a testimony to Coach Cauglin's effect on the team. Congratulations to our Lady Lions. Waco finished the season with a 4 - 1 win over University. After going down 1 goal to nill in the first half. The lady lions attacked with 4 unanswered goals to end the season 10-2 overall. The Lady Lions making are statement in the Division 4A Region 2 Division 10 (Div 4A 1/2) ranks of Central Texas. This is a team of heart and dedication with a solid defense built around Megan Vlam, Petra Padilla, and Loren Eary with a strong midfield led by Kaitlin Meske and a agressive offensive group led by Rachel Moore and Jennifer Botello. The shift of soccer power in Central Texas is underway, a new winning tradition has begun.
